Kontiolahti Municipality Welfare and Health Promotion Operating Grant 2024

The municipality of Kontiolahti has granted JoMoni ry an operating grant of 1,900 euros for the promotion of well-being and health for 2024.

The grant will be used to organize an international, free equality café in the Kontiolahti area. The equality café is a space open to everyone, where people from different backgrounds and cultures have the opportunity to meet each other with a low threshold and in a safe atmosphere.

Everyone is welcome to join the activity. In the equality café, people can share their experiences, learn from each other's cultures and build community. The activity includes themed discussions, dialogues and small workshops. Participants can also plan the topics and themes of the meetings themselves. We will visit local events as much as possible. The equality café will be guided by a JoMon employee. Where possible, we will also involve volunteers we have trained.

We will launch the activity as soon as possible, follow the announcement on our website and social media channels!
