New Finnishness Day 2024

The traditional New Finnish Day will be held this year on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Joensuu Pakkahuone.

New Finnish Day celebrates multicultural Finland and Joensuu. The event has become an annual tradition and this year we are celebrating it for the sixteenth time.

The event is open to everyone and free of charge.

The event will be held in plain Finnish and English, but there will be the possibility of interpretation in Ukrainian, Russian and Arabic, among other languages. We will also follow the principles of a safer space.
